NJHS/NEHS

The NJHS and NEHS Honor Societies elevate a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These five pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1929.  Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in Honor society activities. Chapters are found in all 50 states, US Territories, and around the world . Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.  As such, both chapters and students are in schools that care not only about student achievement, but also community engagement. Honor society students and their peers volunteer in their communities at the highest rates and make connecting with and serving within the community a priority.

New membership opportunities will open up each spring and students with a GPA of 3.85 or higher will be invited to apply (3rd quarter report cards are used for grades).  If you have any questions about NJHS or NEHS please contact Mrs. Bomar (NJHS Chapter Advisor)
